Reactive dermatitisOr reactive eczema. It is an eczema called "constitutional", because it conveys a hereditary allergic condition. In the infant's, the eczema appears on the cheeks, folds of elbows and knees. The skin is weeping, scabby and very pruriginous. There is a risk of secondary infection.The reactive dermatitis is an allergic mechanism with a very acute reaction which wounds the skin and the mucous membranes. |
